Anqi Li is a cultural worker who wants to connect people with art through curating engaging and educational experiences.
Born and raised in China, Li has spent her years in Nanjing, Cleveland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Cambridge. She moved to Hong Kong in 2019 as Curator of Education and Public Programs at independent art space, Para Site. Currently Li is pursuing her PhD in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Hong Kong (school profile). Her research investigates how museology, curatorial practice, and public policies inform the landscape and future of contemporary art institutions in greater China.
Workaholic most of the days, yet an artist off duty, Li indulges herself with producing visual narratives in her spare time. She believes in 念念不忘，必有回响, and still has lots of hopes.
